Save as Draft and check the product
Use this page before publishing any tile product.
Keep it unpublished
- Set the main image, gallery, category and brand.
- In the Publish panel, click Save Draft — not Publish.
- Confirm the status says Draft.
- Use Preview to view the product without making it public.
- For a variable product, select every size in Preview and confirm the price and stock change correctly.
Final checks
- Simple product: product type, price and SKU are set.
- Variable product: every enabled size has its own price and SKU.
- Tile size, coverage per box and price unit (per m², tile, or box) are clear.
- Images match the product and all categories/brand are correct.
- Stock and backorder setting are correct.
Common problems
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| No Generate variations button | Set Product data to Variable product, then save the Size attribute with Used for variations ticked. |
| Size cannot be bought | Open that variation and add a price. Check that it is enabled and in stock. |
| Product is public too early | Use Save Draft. Before saving, verify the Publish panel status is Draft. |
Ready to publish? Only publish after the preview and every variation have been checked.
